While Center City Collision is an auto body repair shop, we are much more than a group of caring people who happen to offer outstanding collision repair service. The Guru likes his burgers…and has found a place that treats them with all the care, concern, and delectability that a good burger requires. That place is our neighbor down the street, Gordo’s Pub & Grill.

The burgers are awesome, the sandwiches massive, and the service friendly and fantastic. Raymond Gordo, a Norwood native, has created a winning combination of fine diner and sports bar right in the heart of the city. The menu features ½ pound unique, gourmet burgers like the ‘Surf and Turf’ topped with fresh crab meat, béarnaise and spring mix or the ‘Chocolate Stout’ which includes creamy goat cheese folded into chocolate shavings. This isn’t your ordinary selection of burger toppings.

Besides unique and delicious sandwiches, salads, and appetizers, Gordo’s provides one of the better selections of domestic and imported beer in the Cincinnati area, a good selection of wine, and fine spirits such as Patron Silver, Wild Scotsman and Woodford Reserve. 

One review at LivingCincinnati.com says in part: “I was extremely delighted to see “upscale bar food” and not have the same “run-of-the-mill” bar experience. I happily enjoyed the “Jean Robert burger” a delicious 1/2 lb burger mixed with bacon, blue cheese and topped with a grape compote and goat cheese. Pure gastronomic delight!”

The Original Gordo’s Pub & Grill is at 4328 Montgomery Road, just down the street from our body shop and across from the Norwood Library. Now there’s a second location, in the Jungle Jim’s Plaza in Fairfield. The Guru recommends checking out the Happy Hour prices on drinks and appetizers Monday – Friday from 4 to 7.
