If you’ve been reading the Guru Blog, you may have noticed I’ve written before about the importance of community.

At Center City Collision, we recognize that an essential part of community is giving back to it. By investing time, talent, or treasure, we are building into the people, companies, and organizations that make for a greater community. Here are several non-profit organizations we support with ongoing donations, impacting the community where our shop is located.

• The Norwood Service League is a community social service agency established to help people during temporary times of need or to supplement current assistance. In partnership with businesses, civic organizations, schools, churches, and others to provide services that meet basic needs and promote self-sufficiency.

• Vineyard Central, located in West Norwood, is committed to making a difference in the community. Through ongoing programs, serving their neighbors, this church helps bring back the feeling of family that many communities have lost over the years. Their presence and their efforts are changing their neighborhood—and changing lives in the process.

• We are a corporate sponsor of Norwood Rugby which is fast gaining momentum. It’s about to become part of the physical education curriculum at Norwood Public Schools. Our partnership will help the community’s youth learn the value of teamwork and the importance of physical activity, along with other positive impact that comes from playing this popular worldwide sport.
